2006 New Jersey Marathon & Long Branch Half Marathon Follow Up

If you were able to join us at the 2006 Event, you missed out on a great time. It gave people from around the nation an opportunity to reconnect and discuss future plans and opportunities. (Photos are available in our photo gallery.) Members representing the Team Marathon (Cleveland), South Fulton Running Partners (Atlanta), and Avondale (Cincinnati) running clubs were present.

We discussed the 2007 Rite-Aid Cleveland Marathon and Half Marathon (see the following article for an update), possible 2008 marathon locations, and possible interest in running an African event. These races always include non-marathon distances, such as halves, 10K's and/or 5K's. Thus, everyone can participate.

Members participated in the half and full marathons. However, several members "ran away" with trophies in the Long Branch Half Marathon, including our youngest and one of our oldest members. Thus, we were well represented.
